Friday Favourite | Let me grab a scarf

It's highly likely I'm in the minority when I say I'm longing for the turn of the season. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed the longest heatwave since 1976, I've just come to love Autumn more. (And I kind of preferred 1976 too if I'm honest). The cool, crisp mornings, pumpkin spiced latte, jerseys and scarves to name a few essentials for Fall make me happy.

Especially scarves. I'm a sucker for them. I'm still ten paces away from a display of scarves as an imaginary voice can be heard to shout SOLD! The lure is just too great. I found this gorgeous specimen by nkuku* at Petticoat Lane*. Although I'm not interested in any of the ways of wearing a scarf that's being shown on social media (y'know the ones... knot at the back of the neck, cross over front, tie at the back, etc, etc), I do love how they can instantly change up an outfit. Light and silky. Medium weight. Chunky knit. Cashmere. I've got a hoard of them that I'm so looking forward to bringing out from hiding as the chilly days arrive.

While I know I don't need any more... and I don't need to hear Vincent utter "oh, you bought a scarf...!" either, I can't promise that I won't add to  my collection.

Anyone know the colour trend for Autumn this year...?!
